Grow Island presents: DutchPro Starter-Set Hydro/Cocos HW
The professional complete nutrient system for hydro and coco grows with hard tap water

With the DutchPro Starter-Set Hydro/Cocos HW, Grow Island expands its range with a well-designed complete set developed specifically for successful cultivation in coco substrates and hydroponic systems. This new product is aimed at beginners as well as ambitious growers who want structured nutrition, stable development, and reproducible results from the very start – even when using hard tap water.

The Starter-Set combines proven DutchPro base nutrients for the growth and flowering phases with three powerful boosters that specifically support root development, substrate activity, and flower formation. With this set, Grow Island covers the entire life cycle of the plant – from early root formation to abundant final flowering.

Why a dedicated Hydro/Cocos Starter-Set is essential

Hydroponic systems and coco substrates place different demands on nutrient supply than traditional soil. Nutrients must be rapidly available, precisely dosable, and fully plant-accessible. At the same time, hard tap water with elevated calcium and magnesium levels can affect nutrient balance.

The DutchPro Starter-Set Hydro/Cocos HW, now available from Grow Island, was developed exactly for these conditions. All included products are perfectly matched and take into account the specific properties of coco and hydro systems. The result is a stable system that reduces nutrient lockout, promotes plant development, and gives the grower maximum control.

Grow Island especially recommends this set for users who:

grow in coco or hydroponic systems
work with hard tap water
prefer a clear, logical feeding concept
want to use high-quality branded products without unnecessary complexity

Original Grow & Bloom Hydro/Cocos A & B – The foundation for controlled growth

At the heart of the set are DutchPro Original Grow Hydro/Cocos A & B and Bloom Hydro/Cocos A & B in the Hard Water version. These two-component complete nutrients provide the plant with exactly what it needs in every phase of development.

The formulations contain a total of 17 carefully balanced macro- and micronutrients optimized specifically for coco substrates and hydro systems. Thanks to their high purity and stability, the nutrients are absorbed extremely quickly and used efficiently.

During the growth phase, Grow A & B ensure:

strong vegetative development
even leaf formation
a stable plant structure
healthy internodal spacing

In the flowering phase, Bloom A & B provide the basis for:

uniform flower development
stable supply through to harvest
controlled nutrient uptake without overfeeding

Multi Total – Activating the substrate for maximum efficiency

Even though coco and hydro systems are not classic soils, processes in the root zone play a central role. DutchPro Multi Total acts as an intelligent soil and substrate conditioner that optimizes nutrient utilization and stabilizes the system.

Multi Total stimulates microbiological processes, accelerates the breakdown of organic residues, and thereby improves nutrient availability. At the same time, it supports:

the water-holding capacity of the substrate
cation exchange
stability in the root zone

Especially during longer grows or intensive feeding, Multi Total helps keep the system “clean” and ensures nutrients are available exactly where they are needed – directly at the roots.

Explode – Targeted bloom booster for maximum yields

The flowering phase determines the success of a grow. DutchPro Explode is the bloom booster included in the set, providing targeted support during this critical period. It contains selected vitamins as well as macro- and micronutrients that intensify the plant’s metabolism.

Explode promotes:

enhanced flower formation
denser and heavier buds
increased sugar production
improved chlorophyll formation

With increased photosynthesis, the plant has more energy available, which flows directly into flower development. The result is compact, aromatic flowers with high yield potential – a decisive advantage for indoor grows in hydro or coco systems.

Take Root – The foundation for healthy plants begins in the root zone

A powerful root system is the key to a successful grow. DutchPro Take Root was developed specifically to strengthen this area. The booster is primarily based on high-quality seaweed extract and contains vitamins, potassium, micronutrients, and special plant hormones.

Take Root supports:

fast and vigorous root growth
the formation of fine root hairs
increased resistance to stress
more efficient nutrient uptake and distribution
