Sensi Seeds Super Skunk automatic

Super Skunk Automatic
Super Skunk Automatic is strong, sweet and easy to grow and a favorite with beginners and growers with little time, space or ambition. The plants thrive outdoors even in short summers and when wet. For growers looking for compact plants, this strain is the perfect choice. You need little maintenance to build solid buds.

Growth pattern of the Super Skunk Automatic

Super Skunk Automatic cannabis seeds produce effective, fast flowering plants. They are 80% Indica. That means they are compact. Furthermore, they bloom by themselves, which is ideal for inexperienced growers or people with little resources, ambition or time. The plants bloom after a predetermined period of time: approx. 3 to 5 weeks after the seedlings are visible.

The appearance of the flowers not only affects the amount of daylight the plant is exposed to. However, the plants benefit from an extended light cycle (14 to 18 hours a day) to increase strength and yield. The flowering phase usually lasts seven to nine weeks and the plants no longer grow vegetatively, even if the photoperiod is unpredictable.

As a rule, the Super Skunk is grown indoors under lamps. However, this autoflowering variant of the Super Skunk also thrives outdoors in a temperate climate. When the summer is cooler, the flowering period can be adjusted to the longest days of the season because the plants bloom by themselves. Then the buds and the resin can develop in the sun. You don't have to wait for the cooler, wetter autumn months.

The autoflowering Super Skunk plants are relatively compact. This means that methods such as topping and supercropping are not suitable. Most growers use autoflowering strains to avoid as much maintenance and intervention as possible. Those with more experience and curiosity can experiment with Sea of Green (SOG), Screen of Green (SCROG) and Lollipopping. These procedures all work well with the special growth pattern.

The buds are dense, well proportioned and light green. They have a thick coating with trichomes and large calyxes. The Super Skunk Auto isn't the most productive variety, but with a little more effort, it delivers good harvests. More space and longer lighting during flowering maximize yield. To avoid any misunderstandings: the buds of this plant are ripe for harvest and are satisfactory and by no means small.

Effect, taste and smell of the Super Skunk Automatic

The smell of the Super Skunk Automatic is often surprising. Unlike other varieties in this family, the aroma is not dominant and has a sweet citrus note. Base notes are warm and spicy like other Skunk cannabis strains, which shows the indica heritage of the plant.

The aroma becomes clearer when flowering begins, but is not as dominant as with the regular and feminized variants of the Super Skunk. Their smell has peaked in the last week. After curing, the citrus smell of the buds decreases. However, the aroma is directly perceptible when consumed.

The effect of the Super Skunk Automatic is good for relaxation and for medical purposes. The general feeling is relaxing (thanks to the 80% indica), although the buds are also stimulating due to the sativa element.

Plants that are grown outdoors are usually less effective than those grown indoors. This applies to most autoflowering cannabis strains. An attractive feature for growers who are looking for a cannabis plant with good pain or stress relief and at the same time less intensity. The strain is also a good choice for people who are not experienced cannabis users.
