SANlight STIXX 3-80 LED Grow Light 70 W

The SANlight STIXX 3-80 LED 70 W is a modular grow light for indoor use. Three LED modules deliver a photon flux of 191 µmol/s PPF at rated power. The light is designed for growing areas 80 cm deep.

Whether in a grow tent, above cuttings or in a multi-tier installation, the STIXX 3-80 lets you plan the lighting to suit your existing setup. Drivers and cables are sold separately; select any additional mounting accessories to suit the setup.

Low-profile design for limited installation height

The housing measures 676 × 85 × 16.9 mm and weighs 1.03 kg. Its low profile helps make good use of the available space, particularly above shelving or beneath a low tent roof. Passive cooling requires no fan.

Still account for suspension, cable routing and the specified clearances when planning. Before buying, check where the module can be mounted and how you will reach it for plant maintenance. The low profile does not replace safe mounting clearances.

Full spectrum and directed light distribution

The full spectrum is intended for growth and flowering. The 90/135° optics direct light across the growing area and support even distribution. This allows the light to be used for different crops and setups.

The PPF value describes the light’s photon flux, rather than the amount of light at each individual plant. Position, distance and the number of modules also matter for your layout. Plan these factors together, particularly where plant heights and crop density differ.

Modular setup with a matching STIXX driver

Power is supplied by an approved STIXX driver. The suitable combination depends on the selected driver and the number of connected modules. Refer to the SANlight combination table rather than relying solely on the printed wattage.

Only identical STIXX models may operate on a shared driver. If you want to add more STIXX 3-80 lights later, check the permitted combination again. This allows you to account for expansion when planning cable routes and mounting positions.

Setup and first use

Have the driver, appropriate connecting cables and mounting accessories ready before assembly. Inspect all components for visible damage and read the operating instructions. Make connections only with the mains disconnected.

Arrange the modules so that you can inspect the wiring and reach the suspension. Ensure secure mounting and provide strain relief for fully uncoiled cables. Avoid direct contact between the light and plant parts.

Securely mount the STIXX 3-80 and maintain at least 15 cm clearance from surrounding objects.
Connect the module to the approved driver using appropriate DC connecting cables.
Seal open DC connections with the specified end plugs.
Only then connect the driver to the mains; follow the reverse sequence when disconnecting.

Gentle cleaning and care

Disconnect the installation from the mains before cleaning. A soft, non-abrasive cloth with distilled water is suitable for the optics. Work gently to avoid scratching the surfaces.

Also check the suspension, cables and connectors at the same time. Damaged components must not remain in use. Keep the light and its mounting free from unnecessary mechanical stress when working with the plants.

Ingress protection and safe operation

The LED module is rated IP68. The mains plug is nevertheless not waterproof and must be protected from moisture and water. Keep this distinction in mind when positioning the power supply.

Do not look directly into the light source, do not cover the light and provide sufficient ventilation. The specified clearance of at least 15 cm from surrounding objects also applies to compact installations.
